THE ARCHITECTS NEW ALBUM, THE HARD WAY COMING FROM SKELETON CREW IN JUNE!

THE ARCHITECTS EMBARK ON VANS WARPED TOUR 2009!

On the heels of their critically acclaimed album Vice (Anodyne, 2008) The Architects tucked themselves away in the recording studio all winter long to emerge, charging hard, with The Hard Way, their first album for Frank Iero’s (MCR, Leathermouth) Skeleton Crew label who will be dropping this new batch of exceptionally tuneful, rough and rugged, Midwestern punk-and-roll songs on June 16- mere days before The Architects start their long, hard summer expedition on the 2009 Vans Warped Tour. Often compared to such Midwestern punk luminaries as The Replacements & Hang Time era Soul Asylum, The Architects wear their urgent, soulful, punk-n-roll sound like a broken-in leather jacket, harkening back to a more boyish Social Distortion on tracks like Bastards At The Gate, a punker Tom Petty on I Carry a Gun and Lost in the Dark, and a smarter-than-you-think AC/DC on Rope To Hang From. Add to that fearsome traces of Rancid and Bad Religion found in Year of the Rat and Knowing is Half the Bottle and you are somewhere on your way to grasping what it means to go The Hard Way. The 2009 Vans Warped Tour starts on June 26th in Pomona, CA, and winds it’s way across North America all summer long to finally end August 23rd in Los Angeles, CA- and The Architects will be there for al of it!
